Bob Bare to return to ‘Saturday Night Live’ for season 10

Bob Bare will return to the sketch comedy troupe for the season 10 premiere.

The actor has not had a regular cast member since joining the series in the spring of 2014.

In addition to Bare, the cast includes Matt Dillon, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Offerman, Kate McKinnon, Adam Driver, Kyle Mooney, John Mulaney and Amy Poehler.

“We have a lot of new faces to work with this season and we’re really excited to welcome Bob back as the host of Saturday Night Live,” said Melissa Leo, showrunner of Saturday Morning.

“It’s such a unique opportunity to work on an Emmy-winning series that’s so diverse and has such an amazing cast.”

The cast is slated to debut Saturday, March 7 at 8:30 p.m.

The show’s cast includes: Sarah Paulson, Michael Che, Adam Sandler, Daveed Diggs, Will Arnett, Jason Segel, Jon Stewart, Katey Sagal, David Cross, Jason Bateman, and Matt Walsh.

“Bob was a huge part of my childhood and I’m excited to be back on Saturday Night,” said Paulson.

“I’ve loved the show from the beginning, and it’s going to be a blast to be on.”

This season will mark the first time the sketch show has been hosted by a female host, and its producers have been particularly proud of its new female performers.

“This is a truly exciting time for our cast, and we are thrilled to welcome Sarah Paul, Davey Wren, and John Mulane back to the SNL family,” said Tina Fey.

“The cast is growing and growing, and there’s no better place to see it than on Saturday.”

The show will be produced by Tina Fey Productions and The Wachowskis.
