
Man, 63, dies after being trapped in bag by family members for 30 hours
A man has died after being crushed under a bag of belongings that his family had left at his home.

“At 6.00pm this morning a man from the North Brisbane area died of a natural causes,” Detective Inspector John Karpas from the West Suburbs Crime Investigation Team said.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
Mr Karpaskas said the death was being treated by a coronial inquest.
“He was found by his partner and a family member in the upstairs room,” he said.
Police say Mr Karpass is investigating what happened to the bag and that it may contain personal belongings.
“We have received a number of reports from members of the public that they have found a bag and found it has a bag inside,” Inspector Karpapas said.
